Samsung galaxy s8 unboxing,hardware,and design

Unboxing:
The galaxy s8 active receive is from AT&T ,so it has AT&T's own packaging. The box is black with a blue accent that goes all the way around with the AT&T logo right on top. On the front and back of the box you can find the phones name written in bold white letters.
Braking the seal of the adhesive we can slide the boxs lid up and take a peek at the phone, which we got in titanium Gold. Underneath the phone is AT&T usual reminder to never text and drive. Aside from the usual documentation the Galaxy s8 active comes with an adaptive quick charger (5v@2A or 9v @ 1.67A)w/USB-A to USB-C cable,OTG to USB-A adapter to fasilitate the phone transfer process and a micro-USB to USB-C converter so you can use your old cables with a USB-Cport.

Hardware and design:
The design of the active series of samsung smartphone varies a lot year after year. Last year Galaxy s7 active was quite chunky with those physical button. This time around the galaxy s8 active no longer has any button on the front since samsung ditched the capacitive keys. This give the phone the appearance that doesn't suggest it might be outdated.
There are variety of materials and textures an the phone. In fact looking at one of the corner strangely remaind us of a Las Vegas hotel:layers of architecture. The s8 active certainly has more exterior parts than the prenons model did . At the same time ,more of the metal frame around the device is exposed to help dissipate heat.
The corner of the phone are reinforced with bumper on the top and bottom of the phone. Those bumpers are made of dense rubber thats soft to the touch and held in with torx screws.
At the top of the phones display are the same array of sensors found on the s8. The in-call receiver, notification LED,proximity sensor, light sensor, front facing 8MP camera, and the two sensors needed for iris scanning.
Although the phone feels chunky in the hand,it feels sturdy in all the right place. This isn't a phone that you throw in a case, its a phone that can take a heating without a case, and thats been the same case for previous generation of the active phone.
It feels a bit heavy, but sturdy at the same time, honestly this thing it built like a tank. You won't be disappointed with its construction.

Vivo V7+ verdict

Vivo is introducing some notable new features with its smartphones and the V7+ is just the first of many such model to come. The shift to the new 18:9 aspect display is welcome, and we like the fact that the company has finally moved to Android Nougat. The front camera is does a good job in most lighting conditions. However ,it still feels quite expensive considering it's plastic body,low- resolution screen and budget-class processor.
Today we have a better-built models with more features and more powerful specification setting for a lot less,so its reasonable to expect these things from a phone at this price. We're also not that impressed with the rear camera. With a screen this size,we expect to have full-HD resolution at the very least. Dual camera at the front ar back are another popular feature that other phone offer, and would have helped this phone stand up against its competition.
At the Samsung galaxy A5(2017) (review) is a very good alternative since you get a better constructed device with useful features such as waterproofing and contactless payment support. Vivo's own V5 plus (review)is also still a decent choice ,after its recent price cut. You get a more powerful SoC,although its still stuck on Marshmallow and the storage can't be expended. So today offer features and performance that are competitive with Vivo's higher-price V7+.
